The Pressure

So last night was our first attempt of a costume run for Shout! legend of the wild one!, and my goodness the stress and panic that overcame me was amazing.  I have been in a lot of shows before and they all require quick changes but who ever wrote this script has literally given no time for change what so ever.

The whole cast has some pretty quick changes and some very extravagant costumes.  I myself have a total of 25 changes some of which we have literally 15-20 seconds to change from head to toe, amazing!  The costumes do  look great, and there are still a lot of bits and pieces to be added.  But I have all faith that this is going to be my best show yet.

Be prepared to bump it up a level people.!

Exciting News Laurence On World Tour

There is very few words to describe how excited and nervous I am about the huge change that recently has come in to my life.

Lundie, had entered in to a radio competition on Nova to win tickets to the Nova-rectomy party at the Paramount on the 9th May 2009.  Which he won, only getting one answer correct he was only able to bring along one extra person with him, which he rightfully chose me.

On the lead up to the party we were hardly in the mood to go, I didn't want to drink, and Daniel felt tired, plus we could not find any costumes any where that resembled a doctor to tie in with the theme of the night. But one thing kept us thinking we should go...

Needless to say we have rocked up to the party and were instantly teased by the producer of the show that we weren't dressed as doctors.  The night went on and as we downed disgusting champagne and mingled among 600 nurses and doctors I was getting quite drunk and quite tipsy. All I wanted was for the draw to happen so we could get out of there!!  And then it was time.  I got this weird feeling over me like I had something lifted off my shoulders as they bought the big bright yellow sulo bin filled with little medicine containers in which contained all 600 of our names.  They were shaking it so much but I couldn't help but feel that the name that was going to be drawn out was not mine,  but Lundies.

Nat, from Nathan, Nat and Sean did the draw and pulled out the name from the little medicine bottle.  She announced that the winner was Male, I got a little excited, she then stated he was from south of the river, my heart thumped a little quicker.  She then went on to say his first name began with D, then A, then N, then I, the E  then L,   At this stage my mind was going at a 100 miles an hour trying to piece those letters together... IT SPELT DANIEL!!!!!  I wasn't quick to jump up and down but then she read the last name.... Lundie, and from then everything was a blur!!!1

You see that one thing that made us actually go that night, was a clairvoyant named Rhiannon.  She had told me a matter of weeks ago that I would be offered an around the world ticket and I could not refuse this.  That is why I knew it would be Lundies names pulled out of the hat, weird huh!! Then before the actual draw we were speaking to Nat and told her of the premonition, when she read out the name he face went pale at the realisation that Lundie had actually got it!!!

It still gives me shivers, so needless to say my quiet night turned out to be huge and late next year myself and Lundie will be visiting, New York, Los Angeles, Los Vegas, Tokyo, Paris and London in a short holiday, then back to work. CAN'T WAIT!!!
